Superpipe and Slopestyle results at BEO 2015
The Burton European Open (BEO) 2015, which took place in Switzerland and ended yesterday, Sunday, February 1, is an international snowboarding competition made up of both men's and women's Superpipe and Slopestyle events.
During the championship weekend, the storm that is punishing a large part of Europe also passed through the Swiss Alps and forced a slight modification of the test program. Despite everything, the test met the expectations of the international snowboarding community and there was a good show in Slopestyle and Superpipe.
Superpipe in BOE 2015
In the Superpipe mode, the BEO 2015 champions were the Americans Kelly Clark and Chloe Kim with 85 and 84 points respectively. The Swiss Nadja Purtscherts was third with 62 points. The Spanish Queralt Castellet, our representative with the best results, finished in sixth position with 23 points.
In the men's Superpie final the winners were the Swiss Iouri Podladtchikov with 90 points, the Japanese Ayumu Hirano with 88 and the Swiss David Habluetzel with 84 points, respectively.
Slopestyle at BOE 2015
The winners of the slopestyle modality were, for the women, Christy Prior (New Zealand) with 84 points, the American Jamie Anderson with 78 and Ennu Rakujärvi with 75. In the men's category the podium was as follows: Stale Snadbech (Norway) with 91 points, the Canadian Mark McMorris second with 84 and Torstein Horgmo (Norway) with 83 points.
