Elegir la medida adecuada para tu tabla de snowboard

Choose the right measure for your snowboard table

Choosing the right size for your snowboard

Choosing the measurements, size, and length of your next snowboard is a delicate matter that pays to be informed about in order to make a good decision. Today we bring you a mathematical method or formula that you can apply to your case. We encourage you to use it and find the snowboard measurements that best suit you, your style, and what you want to do with it on the snow.

The formula consists of subtracting your weight (in kilograms) from your height (in centimeters and without taking into account the first 100 centimeters), that is, we only look at the extra centimetres after the first metre of height: if we measure 170 centimetres for the formula we will take it as 70). Thus, we have to imagine three scenarios, each of which we will furthermore distinguish depending on whether we are talking about boys or girls.

Snowboard measurements for children

If you're shorter than you weigh: For example, if you're 170 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, you should subtract 10% from your total height. A 152 cm board would be a good fit.

If you're taller than you weigh: For example, if you're 180 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, you should subtract 15% from your total height. A 152 cm board would also work well for you.

If your height is the same as your weight: For example, if you're 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, you should subtract 12% from your total height. A 155 cm board would be a good fit.

Snowboard measurements for girls

If you're shorter than you weigh: For example, if you're 160 cm tall and weigh 65 kg, you should subtract 10% from your total height. A 142 or 146 cm board would be a good fit.

If you're taller than you weigh: For example, if you're 165 cm tall and weigh 60 kg, you should subtract 15% from your total height. A 142 cm board would be a good fit.

If your height is the same as your weight: For example, if you're 165 cm tall and weigh 65 kg, you should subtract 12% from your total height. A 146 cm board would be a good fit.
