If what you feel like this Sunday is staying home or watching a movie with friends, we recommend Lords of Dogtown (2005). And if you like skateboarding and haven't seen this great movie, you're going to love it.
Although directed by Catherine Hardwicke, the story is by the famous former professional sakter Stacy Peralta.
The film is based on the true story of the Z-BoysThese Californian skaters, specifically originally from Santa Monica and Venice Beach, are the fathers of today's skate/punk movement. These guys used to hang out in an abandoned pool in Dogtown at a time when skateboarding wasn't fully accepted by much of society.
