New York's alternative and urban fashion week
While fashion week is being celebrated in New York, Made Fashion Week is taking place at the Milk Studios in the same city, a point where both emerging talent and new urban manifestations converge . A totally alternative event that has been running since 2009 and that fulfills its role as a shuttle for great and new fashion talents.
Made Fashion Week is an event whose public is more akin to cutting-edge urban style than luxury heels; they prefer technology and new transgressive ideas over sobriety and mainstream trends.
Made Fashion Week was created by three professional friends in urban culture, Mazdack Rassi (Milk studios), Jenné Lombardo (cultural consultancy professional) and Keith Baptista (producer of fashion-related events); Made Fashion Week has already spent six editions trying to put designers in touch with musicians and artists.
