Lindsay Vonn skis again for Christmas
Lindsay Vonn is one of the most recognizable women on the American sports scene and in the international ski community. She is a born winner who, due to a very serious injury that took place in February 2013, saw her incredible form interrupted and such progression that resulted in two Olympic medals, one gold and one bronze. in Vancouver 2010, two World Championships, and four World Cup Generals.
In fact, the North American athlete had 61 victories in the Alpine Ski World Cup and was about to become the best skier of all time. Her rise was meteoric, she seemed unstoppable. But the rupture of the anterior and medial cruciate ligaments in the knee of her right leg, together with a fracture of the tibial plateau, which occurred last year in Austria during a Super G competition, has kept her out of the circuit for a little over 18 months. A real pity.
However, Lindsay is already participating in this year's World Cup and has won the second event that took place in France recently (Val d'Isere). Very good news for her, for her family, her friends and for the entire ski community. Quite a Christmas gift, we can now enjoy this champion again and we hope to see her in shape again and reaping good results in the future.
