One of the main changes for the upcoming season is that the 2021 tour will end with the finals taking place on a single day of competition in September 2021, where the men's and women's world titles will be decided in a single event, called “the WSL finals”.

X GAMES 2021

The X Games are also looking forward to 2021, after cancelling their summer edition. ESPN is resuming the winter sports competition from January 29 to 31 at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen Snowmass (Colorado, United States).

An event where the best ski and snowboard riders in the world meet to test their skills and disciplines in slopestyle, halfpipe and big air. Like all other events, the X GAMES will also have to adapt to new prevention measures due to the pandemic, to ensure the safety of the staff and all athletes.
Some of the new measures that will be implemented are that it will be an event without an audience, allowing fans to watch it through ESPN or streaming. There will also be no disciplines such as snowmobile and snowbike.
Good news for this upcoming season is that the award-winning Shaun White, who has not competed since 2017, will be present, as well as the presence of athlete Chloe Kim, a specialist in the halpipe and snowboarding events.

2021 FIS FREESTYLE SKI AND SNOWBOARD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 14th World Snowboard Championship has announced its upcoming celebration in the town of Zhangjiakou, China of the February 18-28, 2021, under the International Ski Federation Organization and the Chinese Ski Federation.

The Alpine Ski World Championships will be held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, in February 2021, with scheduled dates from 8 to 21, the International Ski Federation (FIS) has confirmed. RALLY DAKAR 2021
The 2021 edition of the world's most brutal rally kicks off on January 2nd with the Jeddah-Jeddah prologue stage that will have 11 kilometers of special and 118 kilometers of liaison. The edition will end on Friday, January 15th with the Yanbu-Jeddah stage.

The festival plans to celebrate and postpone its twentieth edition until summer 2021.

As we have already mentioned, 2020 has taught us and left us many lessons, including the importance of understanding and practicing more sports.
What we do know is that we will welcome 2021 with open arms, leaving behind a year that tested us many times but prepared us for an even better one.
