THE BEST TRIPS TO GO IN EASTER WEEK 2022
Who doesn't like to go on vacation? Now that Easter is approaching, it is a perfect time to organize a trip in which to relax and recharge our batteries. Normally when we talk about "vacations" we think of a few days of pure relaxation, lying on a beach or visiting a city, but always looking for some rest. However, there has to be a vacation for everyone. A vacation can be a perfect excuse for sports lovers who want to discover new places and try other disciplines. We are going to propose a series of destinations for you to combine holidays and sports this Easter, or the next. Take note!
1. TULUUM. MEXICO
Mexico beautiful and dear. Mexico is one of the most attractive destinations when choosing a place to travel to. It has it all: spectacular landscapes, scandalous gastronomy, joy is breathed... But in addition to all this, it is an ideal country for lovers of yoga. The city of Tulum is characterized by the tranquility that it gives off, making it a perfect getaway to relax. It has a number of studios where practicing yoga will be quite an experience. Research which is your favorite yoga shala and book; there are very different options, from open-air places where you can do yoga under the stars to luxury retreats. We leave you a couple of studios where you can live something unique:
- YOGA BLISS TULUM
You will feel at home and create a very special community. His sessions are pleasant and comfortable. Good vibes are in the air and you will leave with a refreshing shot of energy and happiness.
- HOLISTIKA TULUM
An incomparable space, in a wild environment. You will learn about yoga, food and also the temazcal ritual (steam bath for hygienic, therapeutic and spiritual purposes). You will relax in the middle of the jungle and connect with yourself.
- TRIBAL TULUM
An alternative with more diversity. It offers both very active and intense sessions as well as more relaxing ones. You will have professionals who will be watching over you at all times so that you do not suffer any injury. You do not need to bring any material, here they will leave you everything you need.
2. KOH TAO, THAILAND
If you like sea sports this is your place. The island of Koh Tao, also called Turtle Island, is located in the province of Surat Thani, in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Tao is famous for the quality of its waters for diving or scuba diving. There is no tourist who comes and does not discover its seabed. One of the most spectacular areas of the island is Shark Bay, where you can dive with sharks and turtles. Don't panic, these sharks are used to the presence of people, so there is no danger. To get there you will only have to pay 100 bahts (it does not reach 3 euros) and you will have access to bathrooms and a Wi-Fi network. There are diving schools that will guide you so that you can enjoy this experience to the fullest. Any sea sport is perfect to do on this island. We recommend that you rent a kayak and take a route. A route with spectacular views is the one that starts from Shark Island and reaches Chalok, although there are many other routes.
3. LAS CAÑADAS DEL TEIDE NATIONAL PARK, TENERIFE
You don't have to go super far to discover amazing places. In Spain we have places that are worth visiting. One of them is the Parque del Teide in Tenerife. In this park is the Teide, a volcano of 7.500 meters high. It is the highest peak in Spain and there is no better place to do hiking. You will walk among volcanic lava, breathing fresh air and landscapes that seem from another world. There are several guided routes that you can sign up for, or you can also do them on your own. We also recommend you if you have the opportunity for a very special experience, that of observing the stars in the night sky. At this time of year you will have magnificent temperatures.
We are going to propose several routes that will not disappoint you. Remember that to get to the peak it is necessary that you request a permit a few months before, and if you are going to go on a weekend, even more in advance.
- WHITE MOUNTAIN - TEIDE PEAK
It is probably the most famous route in the park, as many people are attracted to the idea of stepping on the highest peak in Spain. This linear route begins at kilometer 40.2 of the TF-21 highway and ends at the Teide peak. It takes about 5 or 6 hours and is 8.3 km long with a drop of 1,350 meters. This route is for experienced people, since its difficulty is high.
- SEVEN CAÑADAS
This option has less unevenness, so it is ideal for people who are starting out in hiking. It starts at the El Portillo visitor center and ends at the Cañada Blanca visitor center. The distance is 16.6 km and it takes about 4 or 5 hours.
4. LAKE GARDA, ITALY
In northern Italy, between the Alps and the Padana plain we find Lake Garda. This lake is ideal if you are looking for a quiet destination in a natural landscape. It offers a wide variety of sports to do, both on land and in the sea. It measures 370 square km, which makes it the perfect setting for sailing, kayaking or diving, among others. In the highest part of the lake it is common to see people practicing surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, since motor boats are not allowed here. You can do both water skiing and parasailing. Do you know this sport? It consists of going attached to a parachute towed by a boat. You can also rent diving equipment at all the schools on the coasts.
If you prefer dirt sports, here you can do many hiking and mountain biking routes. O well. If you are into strong emotions you can go climbing or paragliding from the peak of Monte Baldo. For lovers of quieter sports, the lake has an area of green landscapes perfect for playing golf. Given the mild conditions, any time of the year is a great time to come and visit. However, in April there will not be as many people as in summer, nor will it be as cold as in winter.
5. UGANDA, AFRICA
Our latest proposal is not so close to the sport itself. What is undoubtedly true is that at
