"Do not be overwhelmed by obstacles.”

Davide Morana is an athlete whose story of self-improvement has inspired an entire generation of athletes and non-athletes. At the age of 24, the young Italian was affected by a bacterium that would undoubtedly affect his routine but never his spirit of adventure, his eagerness to live and go further every day.

After having overcome his illness, which led to the amputation of both arms and both legs, the current ambassador of the Spanish Association Against Meningitis has dedicated himself in recent years to continuing his life of training and sports discipline despite that their reality would experience a change as radical as yours. He has become, with his effort, an example of inspiration.

As a representative figure of Adaptive Athletics, Davide has dedicated himself to using his channels and social networks as a vehicle to inspire other athletes and people in similar conditions, and to create a public debate against meningitis then this disease that affects so intensely who suffers it. Today he promotes vaccination to eradicate the disease and defends the need to manufacture more and better prostheses for people affected by amputation

Davide Morana and his partner Cecilia Cano published together 'Arriba la vida', a book dedicated to narrating in detail and without filter the story of overcoming ion of the Italian. Titled 'Arriba la vida', his book has become a memory of the process that Davide, Cecilia, their relatives and close friends have faced and overcome.

“Arriba la vida is the motto I have lived by since I recovered from the disease, and also, the hashtag that I have used in my social media posts to help and encourage others .”
