The 2 Best Snowboarding Movies

There are two reasons that have led us to write this post: the first is that you have a snowboarding suit and you have to stay in the city until the weekend; and the second, much harder, is that you are from the Oscars until…. and it's the only thing they put on TV!!!!
So in The Indian Face we propose two documentary films, perhaps the best there are, about snowboarding and its beginnings to liven up your week a little more:
According to snowboarding and film connoisseurs, it is one of the best films out there: First Descent from 2005, a documentary film about snowboarding and its beginnings in the 1980s.
The film stars the best snowboarders in the world (Shawn Farmer, Terje Haakonsen, Nick Perata, Hanna Teter and Shaun White with appearances by Travis Rice).
Through four generations of riders you will know the progress of this sport in twenty years.
The film is shot in Alaska.
It is the first film produced by a soft drink brand, Pepsi.
We continue with a relatively new movie: We ride – The story of snowboarding from 2013.
Seven years separate these two films with the same format (documentary) and the same story, the evolution of snowboarding since its inception.
In it we can also see riders like Todd Richards, Gigi Rüf, Terje Haakonsen, Jake Burton, Tom Sims, Stale Sandbech (silver medalist at the last Winter Olympics, Sochi) and Craig Kelly.
Which one do you prefer?
